LIGHT THAT MOVES///

Foster + Partners’ new Sydney office is located at Parkline Place, a new development built above Gadigal Metro Station. Foster + Partners, in collaboration with Cox Architecture, was also responsible for the design of the station and the development above.

iGuzzini collaborated with Foster + Partners and MPA Projects on the lighting for the new workplace.

At the entrance, the Superrail 48V track system, paired with Laser Blade XS and Laser Blade XS Wall Washers, illuminates the model table and project wall, creating a defined focal point as you enter the space. Across the work areas, Spacepad provides comfortable, even illumination, supporting the demands of a contemporary workplace.

High-quality light delivers exceptional visual comfort, efficiency and colour quality, enhancing both the architecture and the workplace experience.

LIGHT THAT MOVES LIVING /// Birchgrove Husks by Benn + Penna Architecture

Understated, tactile finishes create a refined material palette that balances the robustness of the architectural form. Carved into the landscape, the rear of the home feels anchored, cool and deeply connected to its site.

Recessed into the concrete ceiling, iGuzzini Laser Blade XS downlights integrate seamlessly with the home’s beautifully pared-back interior. Their high-quality light delivers exceptional visual comfort, excellent energy efficiency and superior colour rendering, illuminating the space without drawing attention to the light source.

A narrow laneway weaving behind heritage buildings off George Street and bordered by Globe, Harrington and Argyle Streets, Nurses Walk is one of Sydney’s oldest historical pathways, now sensitively reimagined by Light Practice.

The lighting design preserves the laneway’s historic charm while enhancing accessibility and ambience after dark. The Palco InOut family was central to this vision, offering versatile mounting across trees, poles and walls, with sizes and lumen packages carefully selected for this sensitive harbourside setting.

Kent Club at 275 Kent Street is a lobby level clubhouse featuring lounges, open booths and a hospitality suite designed for work, meetings and socialising.

The lighting design focuses on subtle integration and visual comfort. Seamless Laser Blade luminaires are discreetly recessed within the services channels, leaving the reflective ceiling plane uninterrupted while delivering precise, high-quality illumination exactly where it is needed.

We’re proud to have collaborated with Domenic Alvaro, Director at Woods Bagot, on the lighting of Casa Alvaro, recently featured in The Local Project.

Situated in the garden suburb of Haberfield, Casa Alvaro carefully retains its original Federation home, while a rear addition is conceived as a singular monolithic pavilion. Its materiality and landscaping of citrus and olive trees reference Domenic’s Italian heritage.
