A narrow laneway weaving behind heritage buildings off George Street and bordered by Globe, Harrington and Argyle Streets, Nurses Walk is one of Sydney’s oldest historical pathways, now sensitively reimagined by Light Practice.

The lighting design preserves the laneway’s historic charm while enhancing accessibility and ambience after dark. The Palco InOut family was central to this vision, offering versatile mounting across trees, poles and walls, with sizes and lumen packages carefully selected for this sensitive harbourside setting.

Kent Club at 275 Kent Street is a lobby level clubhouse featuring lounges, open booths and a hospitality suite designed for work, meetings and socialising.

The lighting design focuses on subtle integration and visual comfort. Seamless Laser Blade luminaires are discreetly recessed within the services channels, leaving the reflective ceiling plane uninterrupted while delivering precise, high-quality illumination exactly where it is needed.

We’re proud to have collaborated with Domenic Alvaro, Director at Woods Bagot, on the lighting of Casa Alvaro, recently featured in The Local Project.

Situated in the garden suburb of Haberfield, Casa Alvaro carefully retains its original Federation home, while a rear addition is conceived as a singular monolithic pavilion. Its materiality and landscaping of citrus and olive trees reference Domenic’s Italian heritage.

iGuzzini Laser Blade Wall Washer downlights illuminate the artworks within the redesigned foyer at 20 Bond St. Seamlessly concealed within the striking batten ceiling, they deliver an even wash of light across the artworks on either side of the reception desk.

The high-quality light output provides exceptional visual comfort, excellent efficiency and superior colour quality, enhancing both the architecture and the workplace experience.

This Paddington terrace has been in the family for generations.

Designed by Alena Smith Interior Design, the project thoughtfully restores the home's original heritage features while balancing them with contemporary finishes.

Integrated into the kitchen, iGuzzini Laser Blade luminaires disappear into the architecture, delivering exceptional visual comfort, outstanding efficiency and superior colour quality through refined, minimalist lighting design.

At The Lands by Capella, the façade lighting has been carefully considered to reveal the building's architectural hierarchy. iGuzzini Echoes heritage collection is a philological journey through radical geometries, bold forms, and pure design culture.

Rooted in iGuzzini's heritage since 1959, the Echoes collection faithfully re-edits iconic lamps by Luigi Massoni, Gio Ponti, Rodolfo Bonetto, Ennio Lucini, Renzo Piano and Ron Arad.
