POV: You find a millennial mashup that’s WAY too good not to use… 🎶💃🏼

So naturally, you need a craft project long enough to fit the entire song. 😂

Enter: Peppa Pig, a whole lot of pink, glittery balloons and a personalised cake topper for Milani’s 2nd birthday! 🐷🎈✨

Anyone else refuse to cut a good song short? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Cardstock cake topper for the win 🙌🏼

Meet the CARDSTOCK topper 💕

Cut on my Cricut, layered by hand and perfect when you want ALLLL the detail.

Cardstock lets me play with colours, textures, tiny details and designs that just hit differently on a cake. 🎂

And yes… I will absolutely spend far too long choosing the perfect combination of cardstock colours. 😂

Team cardstock? 🙋🏼‍♀️

🏉 GRAND FINAL READY! ❤️💙

Because obviously game-day outfits need accessories… and by accessories, I mean custom temporary tattoos! 😂🙌

Made these fun Roosters + Knights tattoos using my Cricut Explore 4, perfect for getting the kids into the Grand Final spirit tonight!

I absolutely LOVE finding all the unexpected things my Cricut can make. Cake toppers, decals, cards… and now apparently I’m running a tattoo parlour. 😂

Who are you backing tonight? 🐓⚔️

❤️ ROOSTERS or 💙 KNIGHTS?

A little bit of personalised magic for their room 🤍

Our custom acrylic night lights are designed and laser engraved right here at Mocked, creating a gorgeous keepsake that’s completely unique to them.

🌼 Personalised with their name
✨ Custom laser-engraved acrylic design

Turned off, they’re a beautiful piece of personalised décor. Turned on, the engraving comes to life with the sweetest warm glow. ✨

Each one can be customised with different themes and designs; think wildflowers, butterflies, dinosaurs, footy, rainbows, fairies, trucks, space and more.

POV: you’re a Cricut girl, so a store-bought birthday present is never just a store-bought birthday present 😂✨

Made a little personalised birthday gift for a friend using my Cricut and Smart Iron-On to add that extra personal touch… and I’m slightly obsessed with the new gold alphabet beads too. 🤌🏼💛

And can we talk about the SOMA body wash?! An Aussie biz, gorgeous packaging AND it smells amazing — straight into the gift box it went. 🇦🇺🫧

A little bit handmade, a little bit luxe and a whole lot more special because it was made just for her. 🫶🏼

Honestly, having a Cricut means I’ve completely lost the ability to give a present without personalising something. 😂

A little thought from someone who’s been creating in this space for a long time 🤍

The personalised gifting and crafting world is huge and incredibly saturated.

We’re using the same machines, the same materials, following the same trends and often being asked by customers to solve the exact same problems.

So sometimes? Ideas are going to overlap.

That doesn’t mean intellectual property isn’t important. It absolutely is. Original artwork should be protected, and deliberately copying another creator’s work is never okay.

But I also believe there’s a difference between copying someone’s work and two creative people arriving at similar ideas independently.

Over the years I’ve seen products that look similar to things I’ve made, just as I’m sure other makers have looked at something of mine and thought, “I make something like that too.”

For me, that’s part and parcel of working in a creative, saturated industry.

I’d much rather put my energy into creating, experimenting, evolving and making things that feel like Mocked than worrying about what everybody else is doing.

Protect your creativity. Respect other creators. But also leave room for people to create. 🤍

There’s room at the table for all of us.

And personally? I’d rather build a bigger table than spend my time guarding my chair. 🤎
