Laidback Lee Design was founded by Principal Designer Stephanie Ferrara, following more than a decade across luxury interiors, editorial styling and the design industry. Under Stephanie’s direction, the studio brings architecture, interiors and design together under one roof — built on the belief that the most beautiful spaces are also the most liveable.

Today, Stephanie leads a team of architects and designers with deep experience across high-end residential and boutique commercial work. From full-scale renovations and new builds to hospitality, bespoke joinery and styling, our team has the expertise to carry a project from first concept through to the final, finished reveal.

Transforming an entire Sydney theme park in just 6 weeks? Challenge accepted! 🎢✨

We took a walk through the park to break down the design details, bold colour choices, and technical finishes bringing this space to life:

🎨 Design Details & Highlights:

✨ A custom Port Jackson-inspired harbour mural

✨ High-gloss raspberry ceilings paired with teal in the Gelato shop

✨ Custom convex MDF paneling for a sleek, seamless wall finish

✨ Burnished stucco with beeswax finishes at Beans Arista Cafe

✨ Value-engineered retail updates with custom character slat walls & mobile gondolas

Every corner was designed around nostalgia, local Sydney vibes, and memories of summers by the beach. Deliveries are arriving, final touches are underway, and we can’t wait to show you the final reveal! 🚚📦
