Great turnout at the NECA Industry Information Night in Taree last week, with over 50 local electricians attending for an informative and valuable evening. We heard important updates from SafeWork NSW, Building Commission NSW, Essential Energy and the NECA team, covering key compliance, safety and industry topics relevant to our region. A big thank you to NECA NSW for organising a well-run event and to everyone who came along. It’s great to see our local electrical industry so engaged and committed to staying up to date.

Haymans Taree Ladies Race Day 2026

What a day.

Our Annual Ladies Race Day, held as part of the Hannam Vale Cup, was once again such a special event for Haymans Taree. It was genuinely lovely to see such a strong turnout and so many incredible women from across the electrical industry come together.

This day is about more than racing. It’s about connection, celebrating progress, recognising achievement, and creating space for women in our trade to get together, support each other and enjoy a well-earned break from the day-to-day.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the fashion was on point, and the conversations were even better.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, our customers and industry partners with a special mention to Mackie Electric & Refrigeration - Mackies, Distinctive Building Co and Caiban Electrical. Your support and presence are what make this event what it is.

Thank you also to the Manning Valley Race Club the food and service were exceptional and the day ran seamlessly.
