Black. Glossy. Heavy with texture. And now it finally has a home. 🖤

This sculptural relief piece has been finished for a while — what’s new is seeing it exactly where it belongs, mounted above the fireplace, catching the flicker of the flame in every ridge.

Built up by hand, layer over layer, until the surface stopped being flat and started holding real shadow. That’s the whole point of a piece like this — it isn’t meant to sit quiet on a wall, it’s meant to move with the light in the room around it.

Same hands, same twenty years, whether it’s a wall or a canvas. 🇮🇹

A new piece taking shape — white on white, all in the texture. 🤍

This is where most of the real work happens — building up layers, finding the movement, long before anything reads as "finished." Every shift in light and shadow here is raised or worked in by hand, nothing painted on after the fact.

Same hands, same twenty years of training, as every wall I finish — the art and the plasterwork have always come from the same place for me. 🇮🇹
