We’re opening the ASI studio for a Christmas pop-up, with a considered collection of custom-made cushions and decor pieces we’ve gathered along the way. Each one made or chosen with care, and ready to give your home a fresh new look for the season ahead.

We’re excited to be showing a series of stunning paintings by Ruby Smith sent all the way from London and beautifully framed here in Toowoomba. Only a limited number will be available, so we’d love to see you there. The last release sold out in one day!

One of our most special projects to date. Over twelve months we worked alongside our clients on the renovation and extension of their Queenslander, guiding the hard selections, colour schemes, cabinetry design throughout, lighting, furniture, art and decoration. So many decisions, so many details, and every one of them worth it.

Congratulations to everyone involved, and thank you to Home Beautiful Australia for featuring this kitchen, the heart of the home.

Congratulations to Mark Winter Constructions on taking out Home Renovation Project ($1 million to $2 million) at the Master Builders Awards for our Long Street project in Rangeville. This project holds a special place for our studio. We came on board in the early planning days, working through layouts, selections and finishes with our wonderful clients, and it has been so rewarding to see those ideas carried through so beautifully to completion.

Mark and his team’s attention to detail made all the difference. An award like this reflects the care and collaboration behind every decision, and we’re proud to have been part of such a talented team.

We are honoured to be featured in the February 2026 issue of Home Beautiful, recognised as one of “18 Australian Designers to Follow in 2026”.

Our East Toowoomba Residence appears on the front cover, alongside the secondary indoor kitchen and dining space overlooking the garden.

This project reflects what we value most. Creating homes that feel considered, layered and quietly confident. Spaces that balance structure with softness. Materials selected for their integrity and longevity rather than passing trends. Rooms that are beautiful, yet deeply liveable.

From custom joinery and tailored lighting through to refined furniture placement and final styling, every element was resolved with intention.

We believe great design is not about excess. It is about harmony, proportion and atmosphere.

Thank you to Home Beautiful for the opportunity to be included in this year’s feature. It is a privilege to see our work recognised among Australia’s leading designers.

As the year comes to a close, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful clients, collaborators, suppliers, followers and our amazing ASI team. Your trust, support and shared commitment to thoughtful design truly means so much.

I’m incredibly excited about the projects already in the pipeline for 2026 and can’t wait to continue bringing these spaces to life in the year ahead.

Our studio will now be taking a break to rest and reset. We will be reopening on Monday, 19 January and I look forward to reconnecting then.

Wishing you and your families a safe and relaxing holiday season, and thank you again for being part of our year.
