🌻🌿 THIS WEEK IN CREATIVE KIDS: ART WITH NATURE! 🌿🌻

What if you could paint a sunflower without actually drawing one? 😍

This week, we’re taking inspiration from nature and getting creative with real leaves and natural treasures!

The kids will dip leaves into paint and use them to build a gorgeous sunflower, layering sunny yellows and oranges to create beautiful textures and shapes.

Nature does half the work, the kids get to do the fun part! 💛

Get ready for a little drama, mystery and colour in this week’s Joy of Painting with Acrylics!

We’re painting a striking Mysterious Black Cat, surrounded by a richly textured background of deep blacks, rust oranges, teal shadows and electric blues.

And the star of the painting? Those glowing amber eyes. 👀🧡

You’ll explore how light creates form, how warm and cool colours work together, and how to build texture and atmosphere into your painting.

The result is a moody, beautiful statement piece that will look incredible on the wall. 🎨✨

💧🦭 WHAT IF YOU COULD MAKE YOUR WATERCOLOUR PAINTINGS JUST MELT AWAY? 🦭💧

This week in Watercolour Magic, we’re exploring one of the most beautiful watercolour techniques, Lost & Found Edges.

You’ll paint a tender little seal resting peacefully in calm water, learning how to make some edges crisp and defined while allowing others to gently disappear into the surrounding water. 💙

And then comes the magic… ✨
We’ll create a soft, believable reflection in the water, bringing the whole painting together.

It’s a beautiful opportunity to explore softness, contrast and atmosphere while creating a finished piece you’ll be proud to take home.

✏️✨ WHAT IF DRAWING A FACE WASN’T AS HARD AS YOU THINK? ✨

Portrait drawing can sometimes feel like the ultimate drawing challenge, getting the proportions right, placing the eyes, shaping the nose, capturing the expression… it can all seem a little mysterious!

But this week in Drawing Secrets, we’re breaking it down step by step and making portraits feel much more achievable.

For Week 7: Portrait Drawing, you’ll learn how to construct the head using simple guidelines, confidently place the facial features, and use shading to give the face shape, depth and a lifelike quality.

And you don’t need to be a portrait artist already. We’ll take it one step at a time, so you can concentrate on observing, drawing and discovering what your own eye and hand can actually do. 💛

There’s something so satisfying when those simple lines begin to come together and suddenly… the person on the page starts looking back at you! 👀✨

By the end of the class, you’ll have created a portrait you can genuinely feel proud of, and perhaps a whole new confidence in your ability to draw people.
