Why do we buy the fabric we absolutely adore and then decide it’s suddenly too good to use?

Consider this your intervention:

Cut. The. Good. Fabric.

Fussy cut the bit that makes you ridiculously happy. Use the hero print. Stop waiting for some mythical quilt that’s finally “worthy” of it.

Fabric is supposed to be used!

🤦‍♀️ I can’t be the only one like this, can I? I get more cardio in walking between the cutting instructions and my cutting mat than any other exercise these days. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve read a measurement then looked at my ruler and completely forgotten what it was I could have a house full of bolts of fabric!

✂️ I’m sewing along with to make my Welcome to the Jungle Sampler. Here’s the blocks I’ve made so far…

🪲 I’m using  fabrics for the entire quilt and it is my happy place. I’m loving how these have come together. Even though Block 5 broke my brain and made me change my approach to the block background. It looks so good as it’s coming together. (Wait till you see the border!)

🎥 is doing weekly video tutorials showing you all the tips and tricks for making the blocks.

3️⃣ There’s 3 methods of construction: Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP), Accuquilt or From Marti Michell Perfect Patchwork Templates (either in acrylic or you can make your own with the templates in the pattern).

◆ Welcome to the Jungle is a 12 block sampler that comes in 2 colours ways. Pattern includes all you need to make the blocks, the border, the rainbow or 4 colour palette and track your progress.
