Sometimes great service comes with a little something sweet. 🧁

A lovely surprise from one of our customers, who dropped by with cakes to say thank you for the service they received from Kirby. It’s always nice to know our team has made the renovation and selection process that little bit easier.

Thanks for the thoughtful gesture. Kirby was pretty happy with this one!

Sustainability is becoming a bigger part of how people renovate, and tiles are no exception. 🌿

A few eco-conscious options worth knowing about:
♻️ 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 — repurposed glass turned into vibrant, reflective splashbacks and feature walls
🌾 𝗕𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗼 𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 — a fast-growing, renewable material with a natural, warm look
🎨 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘇𝘇𝗼 — recycled glass, stone and concrete blended into a durable, speckled finish
🏠 𝗟𝗼𝘄-𝗩𝗢𝗖 𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 — better indoor air quality, especially in bathrooms and kitchens

Beyond the environmental upside, eco-friendly tiles tend to be more durable too, meaning fewer replacements and less waste over time.

Nothing beats seeing a local Townsville bathroom transformation come to life.

This bathroom went from a dated, closed-in layout with an old corner shower stall to a bright, modern retreat featuring a freestanding bath, frameless glass shower, and a floating timber vanity, proof that the right tile can completely change how a space feels.

We supplied the Hunter Silver Matt 600x600 Pressed Edge tiles for this project.

Planning a bathroom renovation before the end-of-year rush? Now's the time to lock it in.

Small bathroom feeling a little tight? The right tile choices can make a bigger difference than you'd expect.

A few expert tips to open up the space: 🤍 Go light, white, beige, and light grey tiles reflect the most light and instantly brighten the room

🟧 𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 - large-format tiles mean fewer grout lines, creating a seamless, more spacious look
🟧 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 - matching your floor and wall tiles in the same tone keeps the eye moving smoothly through the space
🟧 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 - they bounce light around the room and add depth
🟧 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁 - vertical tiling makes walls feel taller, while diagonal floor tiles make the room feel wider

𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? Our team can help you find the perfect tile colour, size, and finish for your space.
