ROSTRATO — by e Moderno
More than a lamp, each Rostrato is an individual work of glass art.
Entirely handcrafted, no two pieces can ever be identical. The distinctive sculptural surface is formed by hand, creating subtle differences in texture, shape and movement from one piece to the next.
These variations are not imperfections — they are the signature of the artisan and part of what makes every Rostrato completely unique.
Colour is worked directly into the glass during production, with the reduction process creating beautiful variations in tone and depth.
Even when two lamps are produced together, each develops its own character.
Shown here is our double-glass Rostrato table lamp, a prototype created for a project by Tamsin Johnson, combining two individually handcrafted glass forms around a refined central metal detail.
Rostrato can be commissioned in single or double-glass configurations, with glass colour and metal finishes customised to suit your interior.
