Well wow we WON!! Last Friday night we attended the spectacular design et al and walked away with the trophy to the Global Award for Interior Design. We keep pinching ourselves. The category was fierce and numerous which made winning this award all the more sweet. Firstly I have to say I was unhappy I wasn’t able to share the stage with my partner in design on this project, Lisa Rockman Droga , but her world conspired against her travelling from Australia this month. We loved working on this special project for special clients and have continuously said that all the praise we needed was that our clients are super happy…but this does put a cherry on top of that happiness. Thanks also go to the magical Prue Ruscoe 📷 photos and the ever gregarious Megan Morton. Stylist extraordinaire, the wonderful build team Sam Grosser Innobuilt HB Stone Sydney , and to my badesign team for working on providing the best we can do every single day for this project and all others. A lovely surprise at the event was meeting the teams from Kimberly Parker Design , RIVER BROOK DESIGN + BUILD and the friends that represented Aussies Archer Design Studio . Our table had the golden ticket with everyone garnering a win for the night. It truly was a global event that brought designers and architects together from around all four corners of the globe and we are the happy beneficiaries of not just a trophy to return with, but new friends to boot.
