Italian holiday vibes... this clutch takes my mind straight to sitting on a busy Piazza, sipping a Campari Soda, enjoying a long sunny summer evening.

Now where is that waiter with my drink....???🍹🍹🍹

Studio Ikebana. Incorporating paper..... how important/strategic is the choice of a suitable container/vase? in the first picture I used a simple paper bag as my paper component doubling up as a vase and then re-created the arrangement, using exactly the same material at home, in a matching vase instead... What do think?

Material used: Agave spike, Walking Iris leaves and Sunflower 🌻

Open Day/Mothers Day Market at QLD Spinners & Weavers today. What a feast for the senses… colors, textures, weaving and spinning demonstrations and a bit of alpaca and sheep 🐑 fondling… After all, they are the producers of some of the raw material today! Of course I had to enrich my collection of fibers with colorful wool roving, sari silk yarn, raffia and some mohair wool skeins… 🫣😂 #

Studio Ikebana. Sensei Pat's brief was to create something different to our "usual" style Ikebana. I was inspired to use Camellia's which have just come into bloom here in QLD. My inspiration came from an arrangement by Kasumi Teshigahara I saw in a Sogetsu Magazine (see photo) and the words of Sensei Mori at our recent workshop.

Material used: Gordonia (Fried Egg Plant) and Walking Iris leaves
