Art Nouveau fireplace surround by Hugnet Freses, Paris 1900.
I spent time visiting this wonderful museum in Rhode Island with my granddaughters' Sienna and Ella-Mae.
This was one of my favourite pieces at the museum.

I just picked up my oyster plate. It was fired the other day.
This is absolutely stunning!
It's even more gorgeous in person. I'll have to buy some oysters.
Thank you Zsolt

Congratulations are in order for Ewen Welsh !
Here's the picture that he won the prize for and the double frame that I used for the painting.
Thank you also Ewen for your kind compliment.

Thanks to Vicki Klein and her fabulous framing I won the Tom Samek memorial prize
(Second year in a row) at the weekend.
I’d like to say the painting is about individuality and independence but it’s not.
It’s just a ginger cat being a ginger cat ❤️

What a glorious day it's been !
Only 2 days left of autumn after today.
It was a beautiful walk with friends down at the river by our place.
Look closely and you'll see black swans , ducks and birds.
Life is beautiful!

The exhibition opening was fun and well attended.
Thank you to everyone who came along.
This exhibition continues until May 24th. Come and see all the amazing art if you can.
Iain McPhee and I were in charge of catering last night. I think that the pineapples were a huge hit and talking point.
