A wee bit of travel sewing.

For once I didn’t make my own design but when I saw this I loved it and bought it as a travel make in my caravan.

Love it, even if my Bridgerton selvedge is upside down 🙄

Even had a bit left over for a hat band.

Love my Singer Featherweight for travel. I get great looks when stitching outside in the sun.

For those who doubt the size of Australia.
We have been travelling for 4 days, around 5 hours a day average and this is how far we got!

True Aussies would say you could do it in a day! We incomers take our time.

I had the pleasure of being a sponsor for the AQUIP, in Box hill. Unfortunately I couldn’t attend the opening but I did pop in today to see the lovely quilt that won my prize.

I’m having a funny half hour watching the Great British sewing bee.
I love it but is is very funny watching proficient sewers trying to quilt.
Boy we quilters have a great set of skills so there is no need to hem those pants guys.

The end of a fabulous day supporting all those affected by the Hunter valley Bus crash. Some did half marathons some 10 k and some 3k.
“All in this together “ was just the right name for a great bunch of people who have had a most horrific shared experience. Moving forward day by day.

It was good to be with these people again.
