When life feels busy, it's easy to move from one thing to the next without really noticing the little moments in between.

When Lauren and I started putting The Gentle Stitcher's Companion together, we knew we wanted it to be about more than the projects we love to make. We wanted to gather up all the little things that make an ordinary day feel special, too.

Hi Friends, hope you had a lovely weekend. It was very exciting here as Lauren and I launched The Gentle Stitcher's Companion our digital magazine. The response has been amazing so thank you very much to everyone who has already purchased their copy. We are so happy to finally be sharing it with you and proud of what we have created.

On the weekend I helped my Mum do some unpacking at her new house, worked in the garden and painted our front door. This week I will be working on prep for Orange which is on next week in between HSC supervision.

One of our favourite parts of creating The Gentle Stitcher's Companion was bringing our ideas together and designing projects to share with you.

Some half inch hexie love to share with you this Friday. This size makes the sweetest little flowers and they're really not as fiddly to do as you may think.

Making hexie flowers is one of those past times I turn to when I need imbue a little peace and calm to my day. It's what I pick up when I have a desire to stitch but my projects aren't calling to me.

There's something rather lovely about these tiny little blooms. A few precious fabric scraps, a little thread, and a quiet moment are all you need to create something sweet. Sometimes, the smallest things bring us the greatest joy.

And speaking of little things that bring joy, I've been gathering together something rather lovely to share with you. A little collection of pretty things, gentle inspiration and stitching sweetness, all wrapped up in one special little package.

I have a feeling tomorrow will bring a little something lovely your way... 🌷

Handmade Sweetness by has landed in my shop and I can not get over how soft and pretty it is! Heather has created the most precious collection of feminine florals in a soft pastel palette that is simply gorgeous. I don't know what I'm going to make but I'm itching to play with these fabrics.

I've chosen seven prints plus the Labels n' Things panel, which I'm dreaming up ways to use in a needle book.
