Danica Wichtermann Ceramic Artist Ceramic Artist and Teacher. Pottery workshops and Home Studio Shop. Custom orders and gifts available. Please enjoy and Rediscover Ceramics.”

Specialising in Australian Botanical vases, homewares and tableware created from porcelain clay. A childhood spent beachcombing, camping trips in the wilderness and a keen interest in botanicals, led Danica Wichtermann to channel her creativity and natural curiosity into the fine arts. It was a passion that inspired the Fremantle local to study visual arts. The results of her studies have enabled

her to create her own ceramics collection Rediscover Ceramics, which she now makes by hand in her studio in Wattle Grove, Western Australia. Danica completed her formal education studying a Diploma of Education and a BA in Fine Arts at Curtin University. She has won multiple awards for her ceramic sculptures, participates in numerous exhibitions and is represented by multiple galleries in Australia. Her Porcelain Collections start their humble beginning on the pottery wheel. Over time, mounds of clay evolve to become a canvas that tells her story. Each surface resonates what she lives amongst and loves so dearly - the Great Australian Bush. Her passion is to encapsulate our vast landscapes and unique flora, capturing that which is so different from other lands. Contrasting colours and intricate sculptural forms endlessly inspire her days carving in her studio.

I’m also excited to introduce a brand new Learning Hub, packed with pottery tips, clay guides, workshop resources, and downloadable reference sheets to support your creative journey.

Whether you’re looking for handmade ceramics, planning to join a workshop, or keen to learn more about clay, there’s something for you to explore.

Comment EXPLORE below and I’ll send you the link, or visit www.rediscovering.com.au.

I’d love to hear what you think of the new look. If you spot any broken links or anything that doesn’t seem quite right, please let me know—your feedback is always appreciated.

Thank you for supporting my small business.

✨ Wheel Throwing Experiences
✨ Special Themed Workshops & Private Bookings

All materials, tools, glazing and firing are included.

Places are limited and bookings can be made through my website 📍Wattle Grove Perth Hills

Thank you, as always, for supporting my small business, attending workshops, collecting my work and following along on this creative journey.
