Well, I'm sure you've all heard the news that The Fibre Co is not making yarn. I know this is sad news for many people as it was definitely a favourite yarn for many people. Whether you enjoyed Road to China Light or Luma, they were all wonderful yarns. So, to help the last of these yarns make it from my store to your stash, all Fibre Co yarns are now reduced. Enjoy!

Sharing a proud 'Aunty' moment. My nephew is the Navigator on this yacht. This is his first Sydney to Hobart win!

Whilst I couldn't be there in person, I was watching him cross the line with my knitting in hand.

Don’t you love finishing a project? This one took a while as it was my ‘handbag project’ that you’re not in a rush to finish. The pattern is ‘Please Mind the Gap by Nim Teasdale, and it’s knitted using Ridge Top Fibre Studio yarns (Lilactime and Damson Jam).

Now to cast on a new project …

I think this has to be the biggest gauge swatch I’ve ever done! I was trying to find my favourite combination of stripes to add to a classic v neck jumper.

I’ve got fat, medium and thin, medium, raised thin and micro-stripes. Which one do you like?
