🎉 Wick It Candle Co has turned 2! 🎉

From an impulsive Marketplace purchase to a business bringing high-quality, handcrafted products into your homes… what a journey! We’re so proud to celebrate this milestone. 🩷

Every purchase, from a single wax melt to a full wax bouquet, means the world to us. Every recommendation, shared post and friendly visit fills our hearts and helps our little family business grow.

A huge thank you to Cleveland Markets and The Handmade Expo for supporting us and giving us a place to grow our brand, meet our customers and share what we love.

To our wonderful retail stockists, Hive Marketplace, Beautiful Cre8tions, thank you for giving our customers the opportunity to shop our products seven days a week. We love having you as part of the Wick It family! 🛍️

And lastly… 22 years ago, our wedding vows definitely didn’t mention running a candle business together! 😂 A couple of small debates, numerous “business meetings” and a whole lot of wax later, I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to share this adventure with. Thank you, Tracey. 🩷

Every piece of cardboard packaging is recycled. Nothing goes to waste if we can help it!

Every fragrance oil cup is washed out and reused. Why throw something away when it can have another life?

🎁 NO FANCY BOXES HERE!
You might have noticed we don't offer those pretty, fancy gift boxes that look amazing for five minutes before ending up in the bin!

Instead, we keep things simple with tissue paper and paper bags – both fully recyclable. Because we'd rather put our money into quality products than packaging that's destined for the rubbish!

☀️ POWERED BY THE SUN!
Our production setup operates 100% off-grid, using solar panels and battery storage to power our energy-hungry appliances. And trust us, candle making certainly keeps those appliances busy! 🔋

We're incredibly proud of the steps we've taken to reduce our environmental footprint. We're not claiming to be perfect, but we're committed to making thoughtful choices wherever we can.

🍓 WHAT A WEEKEND AT REDFEST! 🍓
What an incredible weekend celebrating RedFest Strawberry Festival with our amazing Redlands community! ❤️
A massive shoutout to the organisers, volunteers and fellow stallholders who helped make this event such a success. It was fantastic catching up with familiar local faces and meeting so many new ones who are now taking a little piece of Wick It Candle Co home with them!

🏆 AND WE TOOK HOME 1ST PRIZE FOR BEST STRAWBERRY THEMED STALL! 🍓

We were absolutely thrilled! So much love went into our strawberry display, and the compliments about our matching uniforms were the icing on the strawberry shortcake!
John also reckons he received a couple of marriage proposals over the weekend… I’m still waiting for independent confirmation of those claims. 😂
