🐔 Come take a tour of this freshly finished Kernels Quarters!

We installed the main structure on Thursday, the customer gave it a fresh coat of paint, then we returned Friday to finish everything off — and here’s the finished result 👌

Built for happy chooks and easy chicken keeping, with plenty of room to roost, nest and scratch around 🏡🐔

Every Kernels Quarters is hand-built to order in my West Gosford workshop, then delivered and installed ready for its new residents.

🐔 Another Kernels Quarters complete!

This one was a two-day transformation 👌

We delivered and assembled the coop on Thursday, then the customer got straight into painting it before we returned on Friday to finish off the installation.

And what a difference the paint makes! 😍

One of the things I love about building these from timber is seeing how customers put their own touch on them once they’re installed.

This Kernels Quarters is now all finished and ready for its new residents 🐔🏡

🐔 Quick tour of Cluckingham Palace! 👑🏰

Here’s a look around our latest Cluckingham Palace, recently delivered and installed in Kenthurst, NSW.

Apparently, installing a new chicken coop comes with a very strict quality control team. 😂🐔

The girls inspected the materials, checked the perimeter, supervised the installation and then carried out the final inspection themselves.

Thankfully, the coop passed with flying feathers. ✅😂

I think I might need to start charging extra for chicken supervision! 🐔🔨

Ben’s Got Wood has officially hit 10,000 followers on Facebook AND 10,000 on Instagram! 🐔🪵

Honestly, when I started building chicken coops in my workshop, I never imagined there’d eventually be 20,000 of you following along across my socials — let alone that videos of my builds would end up being watched millions of times around the world. 🤯

What started as one bloke building stuff out of wood has somehow turned into a community of chicken lovers following along with every Egg Factory, Cluckingham Palace, Fowlcatraz and everything else that rolls out of the workshop.

A massive thank you to everyone who has followed, liked, commented, shared my posts, tagged their mates or trusted me to build a home for their flock. Every single bit of support helps a small one-man business like mine grow.

Cluckingham Palace has landed in Kenthurst! 🐔🏰

Today’s delivery and installation came with a full team of feathered supervisors. 😂🐓

The flock spent most of the install hanging around, watching everything we were doing and making sure their new Cluckingham Palace was being built to the required standard.

But the best part came when we’d finished…

As we were packing up to leave, pretty much the whole flock had congregated at the door of their new home waiting to be let in — apparently the old coop was already yesterday’s news. 😂

I think we can safely call that the chicken seal of approval! ✅🐔

Cluckingham Palace is loaded up and ready to roll! 🐔🏰🚚

Today I’m delivering my second-largest chicken coop and run — and this one definitely takes up some room on the truck! 😂

Cluckingham Palace features a huge 2.4m x 2.4m walk-in coop connected to a 6m x 2.4m enclosed run, giving the flock plenty of secure space to call home.

Next stop: delivery and installation! 🔨🐓

I’ll share the finished photos, videos and timelapse once she’s standing in her new home.

1.8 MILLION views in 2 days 🤯🐔… now here’s how The Egg Factory got there!

The response to the tour of this Egg Factory has been absolutely huge, so I thought you might like to see what goes into actually getting one installed.

Every coop is completely built in my West Gosford workshop first, then carefully disassembled into sections, loaded up and transported to its new home — where we put the whole thing back together again.

Here’s a few hours of installation condensed into a much more satisfying timelapse. 🔨🐔

From an empty patch of ground ➡️ to a fully installed Egg Factory, ready for its new residents.

Take a quick tour around one of my recently completed and delivered walk-in chicken coops.

This one was custom built in my West Gosford workshop before being delivered and installed at its new home in the Hunter Valley — complete with predator perimeter mesh to help keep the girls safe. 🐔

The Egg Factory features a large walk-in coop, spacious covered run, nesting boxes, roosting space and an automatic chicken door — all built to make keeping chickens that little bit easier.

Every coop I build is made to order and can be customised to suit your flock, property and setup.

Another Egg Factory delivered and installed! 🐔🏠🔨

Today’s trip took me out to the Hunter Valley to deliver this Egg Factory, complete with the optional predator perimeter mesh for some extra protection against anything trying to dig its way into the enclosure. 🦊

Built in my West Gosford workshop, loaded onto the truck and then reassembled and installed on site — another coop ready for its new residents! 🐓

I’ve got plenty of photos and videos from this build, including a timelapse of the installation, which I’ll be sharing soon. 👀
