PROJECT: Lighting as Art.

Suspended above the boardroom at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, a bespoke 300-piece Leaf installation by Haberdashery catches the light differently with every glance.

With lighting design by Electrolight as part of Bates Smart’s interior vision, the Melbourne workplace moves beyond the traditional corporate vernacular, with the warmth and sophistication of a luxury penthouse.

The result is a refined expression of Haberdashery’s poetic approach to lighting, bringing sculpture and atmosphere to the heart of the workplace.

PERMANENT RESIDENCE: We are delighted to welcome Kathryn Robson and Chris Rak of Robson Rak Architecture & Interiors to Perth to celebrate the launch of their beautiful new book, Permanent Residence, published by Thames & Hudson Australia - a reflection on more than two decades of the Melbourne-based practice, its work, creative process and enduring exploration of what it means to make a home.

Join us at Lawson Flats on Thursday 8 October for an intimate evening with Kathryn and Chris as we hear them in conversation about architecture, interiors, art and the ideas that have shaped their distinctive body of work. Open to design professionals, design enthusiasts and those considering a future project with Robson Rak, the evening offers a rare opportunity to meet Kathryn and Chris and gain a more personal insight into their practice. INTRODUCING: To mark Verner Panton’s centenary this year, &Tradition introduces a range of new finishes to the iconic ‘Flowerpot’ collection.

A special Anniversary Edition of the ‘Flowerpot VP1’ Pendant is presented in its most elemental expression - Pewter. Revealing a purity of form, the Anniversary Edition places an emphasis on the lamp’s domed silhouette. Removing all but the essential, the pendant is crafted from untreated stainless steel. The result reveals a subtly flecked surface quality created by the double stone-tumbling process applied to each shade. To further accentuate the significance of the edition, Verner Panton’s signature has been engraved on the underside of every upper shade.

For an injection of character choose from the new colourway introductions of Steel Blue, Ivory and Zesty Orange - each drawn from Panton’s original palette and in close collaboration with Verner Panton Design AG - with each finish available across a number of the pieces.
