We used a linen-blend sheer with custom coloured tracking, including curved sections to follow the architecture.

Love how they soften the concrete and brickwork and still let all that beautiful light through.

South Coast Seaside Living

Soft, relaxed and beautifully resolved.
For this seaside project, we specified Silent Gliss International Ltd premium ceiling-recessed curtain tracking systems, allowing the curtains to disappear seamlessly into the architecture.

An entertainer’s dream, thoughtfully finished.

For this Moss Vale project, we designed bespoke window furnishings for a spectacular entertainment space featuring a sunken lounge, full size bar and a tucked-away billiard room.

Soft linen mixed textile sheers bring warmth to the raw concrete architecture, filtering natural light while maintaining the home’s bold industrial character. Bespoke finished ceiling tracks and concealed lighting allow the curtains to become part of the architecture itself, creating a relaxed, inviting atmosphere from day through to night.

Moss Vale Living

Creating outdoor living spaces is about more than just shade, it’s about extending the way you live.

At our Moss Vale project we installed the Luxaflex Arafura Full Cassette Folding Arm Awning, fully motorised by Somfy. Featuring a clever 3D motion sensor, the awning automatically retracts if excessive movement is detected, helping protect it in windy conditions.

Control it all from your phone with the incredible Somfy TaHoma automation system and enjoy effortless outdoor living at the touch of a button.

Many of our clients know Sophie for her thoughtful service, attention to detail and genuine care. After many years with our team, Sophie is heading off on maternity leave as she begins an exciting new chapter starting a family.

Throwback to 1984 🕰️

Before Barnes Interiors there was Barnes Darling “The House of Fine Furniture” holding it down at 276 Keira St, Wollongong.

Parker, Chiswell, Tessa, Van Treight, Danish Deluxe, lamps, paintings, carpets… and a full interior decorator service for homes, hotels, restaurants and shops – all run by our family, the same crew behind what we do today.

Four decades on, we’re still obsessed with beautiful rooms, good design and looking after locals the way our parents and grandparents did. Different showroom, different phone number (thankfully 😅), same family, same love for interiors.
