Maroubra Kitchen 🤎

Warm oak, natural stone and aged bronze set the tone for our recently completed Sydney project, where the kitchen was designed to feel both grounded and refined.

The palette is deliberately restrained, allowing the materials, textures and considered details to bring depth and softness to the space.

A balance of warmth and simplicity, with just enough contrast to make it feel personal.

For the main bathroom at our Maroubra Project, we introduced playful colour and pattern, balanced with warm earthy tones and sculptural curves that echo the rest of the home.

Layered together, these elements create a relaxed, tactile space with a little more personality.

Maroubra Project Master Ensuite - Warm, tonal and quietly considered.
For the master ensuite at Maroubra, we kept the palette restrained. We love how the natural light from the skylight moves across the room throughout the day, bringing out the subtle variation in the materials.

Every project has a brief. This one, among other requests, came with one very specific colour reference: Walter. 🐶

Caramel tones, natural timber and soft stone became the foundation for the palette - creating a home that feels restrained yet warm, tactile and connected to its coastal setting.

And, of course, perfectly at home with Walter.

There’s a moment in every project that I quietly look forward to.
This one.
The day everything comes together.

After weeks of concepts , samples, decisions, emails, deliveries, problem-solving, waiting…

Clients who trust you with their vision.
Trades who bring the concepts to life.
Makers, suppliers, builders - people you sometimes never even get to meet - all contributing their little piece to something much bigger.

And then suddenly…
It’s here.

The styling begins.
The flowers arrive.
The light falls exactly where you hoped it would.
And the camera starts clicking.

This is my favourite part.

Not because the project is finished, but because for a moment, I get to stand still and take it all in.

To see something that lived in my head for months become something real.

Something beautiful.
Something that belongs to someone.
A place where life will happen.

And behind every beautiful photograph is a story like this.

This is the part you don’t always see.
