This is another example of beautiful artworks using my papers, handmade paper is truly amazing and I love making it, to use materials like recycled cotton rag that would otherwise go to landfill and turn it into paper that artists can use to create wonderful artwork like this, that is when the paper comes to life, congratulations Studio 44 very excited that your work is in South Korea!

Creative Paper Tasmania have 3 original watercolours and the full collection of Giclee prints of Studio 44 Dream on the Apple Isle available in our gift shop.

I am glad to announce that Dream on the Apple Isle will be showing in Seoul, South Korea, as part of an international group exhibition presented by thehechyeomoyeo at the Kote Gallery in the Jongno District.

All 11 pieces from the collection will be on display as limited-edition Giclée prints, created exclusively for this show. To further enhance this exclusivity and share a true piece of Tasmania with South Korea, the artwork has been printed on the exact same material used for the original paintings—artisan paper handcrafted by the exceptionally talented Darren Simpson of Paper Tasmania.

The exhibition will open on 4th November and conclude on 15th November. If you happen to be in Seoul during this time, I warmly invite you to visit and experience the diverse range of artwork created by artists from all around the world across various genres. There is truly something for everyone.

The opening of the show will feature a vibrant line-up of activities, including face painting, live drawing, and flash tattoos. Additional events scheduled over the following days include a free photowalk, a liquid art show, an open mic night, film screenings, and a live radio broadcast featuring participating global artists!

While I am unable to attend in person, I will certainly be there in spirit!

🌿 LET’S MAKE A WOMBAT UPDATE! 🐾💩

We’re at the FINAL STAGE of our amazing community Wombat Project!

Since we started back in March, an incredible 450 people have contributed to creating our wombat. 💚

Now, the final batch of wombat poo paper is ready to be added for the last layers — and we’d love YOU to help us finish him!

To celebrate Spring Loaded here in Wynyard, Creative Paper Tasmania will be OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK throughout October!

Come along and join one of our hands-on papermaking tours, make your very own sheet of wombat poo paper, and add your contribution to our community wombat. 🐾

And don’t worry — if wombat poo paper isn’t quite your thing 😂, we have plenty of other beautiful papers you can make too!
