I’ll be packing up the candles ,the refills, the melts for and plenty of beautiful smells and heading to Rocky this Saturday.

I wasn’t expecting this one to stop me in my tracks… but it did. 🌿

I’m usually a sweet scent girl, so my first smell of Love Hazel was a genuine “oh my God… that is GOOD” moment.

Fresh, green, woody and completely different to what I’d normally reach for.

I have a feeling this one might be a keeper… but I want my Candle Addicts to come smell it and tell me what YOU think.

Most people aren’t getting the best out of their candles… and they don’t even realise it. 🕯️

I’m not here to tell you to buy another one. I’d rather help you burn the one you already have properly.

Trim your wicks.
Don’t power burn.
Give that first burn enough time.
And please don’t burn it right down to the bitter end.

They’re little things, but they can make such a difference to how cleanly, safely and evenly your candle burns.

“Want to know what people actually said to me at the markets today?” 👀🕯️

A few comments that stuck with me…

✨ “Your scents don’t give me headaches.”
✨ “I saw this market was on today and was so hoping you were here.”
✨ “Your glassware is just so beautiful.”
✨ “Your diffusers are amazing.”
✨ “I forgot my refills!!” 😂

That last one made me laugh, but I love hearing all of them.

For me, market days are about more than selling candles. They’re about the chats, the sniffing, the familiar faces (even if I am terrible at remembering names 🤦‍♀️) and hearing what you really think about what I make.

Revamped Treasures is about more than just soy candles. It’s about beautiful glassware, refillable candles, scentsational soy melts and long lasting reed diffusers . All made locally in Yeppoon by me, Sue, your local candle maker. 🕯️

But I need to ask…

What do you notice first when you stop at my stall . The scent or the glassware? ✨

Folks - our beautiful Handmade Market will be choc-full of the absolute BEST Artisans that this region has to offer so we invite you to join us THIS SATURDAY - 8th August - indoors in the Robert Schwarten Pavilion at the Rockhampton Showgrounds from 8am to 1pm. Grab a coffee or frappe, hot breakfast or sausage sizzle, maybe you'd prefer one of our many sweet treats on offer......then relax at one of the many tables and chairs situated around the pavilion for your comfort and chill to some live tunes by Dan Miller.
