This project transforms an abandoned backyard, previously a neglected dump yard, into a vibrant and functional outdoor space for students.

The landscape was revitalized by replacing the degraded soil with fresh, fertile soil, enabling the growth of grass and plants. Discarded items like ceramic blocks, wooden logs, and bricks were creatively repurposed to craft unique seating arrangements. A large green wall is under development, enhancing the natural setting while ensuring privacy for students.

Key features include a performance deck for events and a dedicated art wall for students to express their creativity and emotions throughout the year. The design combines sustainability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal, creating a rejuvenated outdoor space for community interaction and personal reflection.

The design features an independent metal staircase along the facade, providing exclusive access to the roof. Dining tables are designed with integrated board games like carrom, ludo, chess, and monopoly, creating a playful atmosphere for guests to enjoy while waiting for their food. A large screen enhances the experience with sports, movie screenings, and live streams, while a dedicated space hosts intimate live music performances.

Architectural elements include a lush green wall that brings nature into the urban setting, a collapsible fabric roof offering flexible protection from sun and rain, and solar panels that generate sustainable energy. These thoughtful features combine to create a stylish, functional, and eco-friendly rooftop retreat that transforms underutilized space into a vibrant community hub.

This project revitalizes the entrance of the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, BUET, giving it a distinct identity within a shared multi-department building.

The previously neglected space under the staircase was transformed into a focal point of functionality and design. One side now features creatively designed shelves for displaying books and departmental items, while the other side houses a unique seating area that invites interaction and relaxation.

At the heart of the renovation is a striking artwork that represents the departmentโ€™s focus and celebrates the contributions of its students. This thoughtful design establishes a strong visual identity for the department, making the entrance both functional and memorable.

This village home for Rezaul Karimโ€™s family is a harmonious blend of traditional aesthetics and functional design, reflecting a sense of warmth and elegance. The architectural features include exposed red brick exterior walls, lending the house a timeless and rustic charm.

The windows are crafted with wooden frames and glass swing mechanisms, ensuring natural light and ventilation while adding a touch of sophistication to the design. The house comprises three bedrooms, providing ample private space for the family.

Additionally, the double-height prayer space on the westmost side of the first floor serves as the spiritual centerpiece of the home. Together with the patient chamber, parking space, and guard room, the design balances practicality with architectural beauty, creating a comfortable and serene living environment.
