📢 Job Circular – Store Keeper
Position: Store Keeper
Department: Store / Inventory
Reports To: Store Manager / Factory Manager
Job Location: Factory / Warehouse
📝 Job Summary
The Store Keeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, maintaining, issuing, and recording raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods, spare parts, and other company materials. The position will ensure proper inventory control, accurate documentation, and timely supply of materials to the Production, Sales, Logistics, and other departments.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Receive and verify raw materials, finished goods, and other materials.
• Check quantity, product code, specifications, and condition against PO, Challan, and Invoice.
• Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receive Note) and receiving documents.
• Properly arrange and store materials according to category/location.
• Maintain accurate Stock Register / Inventory Records.
• Issue materials to Production, Sales, Maintenance, and Logistics against authorized requisitions.
• Prepare Material Issue Note / Store Issue Slip.
• Maintain stock-in, stock-out, transfer, return, damage, and adjustment records.
• Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and report shortages.
• Conduct regular physical stock counting and reconcile with system records.
• Identify damaged, slow-moving, and obsolete materials.
• Maintain proper labeling, barcode identification, and location-wise storage.
• Ensure store housekeeping, safety, and security.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, QC, Sales, Logistics, and Accounts.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Support stock audit and maintain necessary documentation.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
• Update inventory transactions in ERP/Inventory Management Software.
🎓 Educational Qualification
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree will be preferred.
• Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field will be an advantage.
💼 Experience
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Store, Warehouse, Inventory, or Factory Operations.
• Experience in Manufacturing / Lighting / Electrical Industry will be preferred.
💻 Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of Store & Inventory Management.
• Basic knowledge of ERP/Inventory Software.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel & MS Office.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Honest, responsible, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
