In this Brussels interbellum home, the kitchen moved from a closed-off room at the back to the centre of daily life.⁠

The freestanding island connects the original house with the new extension, while dark blue Fenix, Carrara marble and integrated storage keep the space open and calm.⁠

The Chabrières floor lamp by Henri Delord and Jean-Pierre Garrault is built from only a handful of elements: light, geometry and proportion.⁠
