From the devotional world of 19th-century France to our boutique in Gent —
This ex-voto in silver (Tête de Minerve) with a gilded interior and “Reconnaissance” engraving was worn or offered in thanks for divine grace. 💛

Een stukje spirituele geschiedenis, typisch voor het Second Empire en de vroege Derde Republiek – pelgrims droegen het naar plekken als Lourdes.
Het vlammende hart & AM-monogram verwijzen naar Ave Maria & goddelijke liefde.

Sculptural, Spiritual and full of character.
Singa paneel uit Noord-Sumatra, het hing ooit boven de ingang van een huis van de Batak Clan, als symbool van bescherming, verbondenheid en ritueel.
Mid 20e eeuw | 33 × 23 cm |
Swirling carvings in red and black pigment, softened by time, reflect the gorga tradition -with a patina shaped by age.
