I’m delighted to announce a new brand joining RUIMTE - The Good Living & Co.

Founded by Monika Szyca-Thomas, the brand continues a family legacy that began with her great-grandfather and has been carried through generations in their workshop. To this day, each piece is made in that very same space by skilled craftspeople using traditional techniques.

At the heart of the collection is a deep appreciation for steel - a material valued for its strength, durability and honesty. Yet in Monika’s work, steel takes on a softer, more poetic character. This industrial material meets unexpectedly romantic forms, almost as if she were working with an entirely different material.

Recognised by Architectural Digest among the AD100 designers, The Good Living & Co is celebrated for its distinctive aesthetic, exceptional craftsmanship and commitment to tradition.

The brand was first unveiled during and immediately caught a lot of attention. It will be presented again at .brussels from 4–7 June.

First Sunday brunch at Soixante × a new name at RUIMTE, unveiled during Antwerp Design Week.

Together we’re bringing Polish collectible design and contemporary Polish cuisine - the way we both like our Sundays: unhurried, around the table, among friends and family.

Hope to see you there,
Agata & Kuba

I didn’t expect it to feel this different.
BLVR in Bolivian blue marble, paired with the grooved light, is softer, deeper, and more present.
One small shift, and suddenly everything changes.

It doesn’t try to stand out. And that’s exactly why it does. But then again…

Our looong planned holidays got cancelled, so last minute we headed to Garda and South Tyrol instead.

We packed the car and just left.

I didn’t realise how much I needed that, that feeling of freedom, of adventure. That reset. Didn’t feel comfortable at first, not gonna lie. But gelato 3 times a day fixed that pretty quickly.

We spent soooo much time with friends. Every day I woke up first for my solo cappuccino. My daughter swam in an ice-cold lake. We hiked, we laughed, we drove for hours with my mouth open because… how is nature THIS beautiful? Pasta vongole and Prosecco on repeat, later replaced with speck and Gewürztraminer.

We did nothing and yet so much. We saw incredible nature, houses in the most dreamy locations that it makes you wonder “Do people really wake up to this?”, and so many places where old and new just exist together, naturally, and full of character.

We came back with full hearts, minds wondering, and my inbox full of exciting things to come 🤍

I love how the Suzuki blanket works as a wall art tapestry in this nursery. Bringing color, warmth and character to the room, without tipping into something too childish.

Lately, I keep coming back to textiles. The layering of color, texture and material makes them endlessly interesting. They have this quiet power to completely change how a room feels.

The Suzuki blanket, along with the full collection, is available online • www.ruimteconcept.com

My mind has been surrounded by art and design. The kind of inspiration that wakes up creativity and makes you notice how much beauty is around us.

OKO vase by Malwina Konopacka

In this version, colour takes the lead.
The sculptural form remains the same, yet the atmosphere shifts.

Placed against wood, glass or a white wall, the red surface creates tension and balance at the same time. Quietly powerful, without overwhelming the space.

Handmade in ceramic and finished by hand, each piece carries subtle variations in glaze and depth.

A vase that holds attention, even without flowers.

Textile artworks by Emma Terweduwe

Her practice blends contemporary textile art with functional design, creating woven pieces that feel both expressive and deeply tactile.

Emma’s work is rooted in a slow, hands-on approach to making. Using natural and durable materials, she develops her own colour palettes and graphic patterns, often transforming woven fabrics through a distinctive felting technique. This process gives her textiles their characteristic depth, softness, and sculptural presence.

I work closely with Emma to create custom pieces that resonate with each interior allowing the work to respond to space, atmosphere, and context.
