Re-Creations Furniture Showcasing furniture and items that have been repurposed or restored giving them new life. It is a tremendous rush to do that. (2 Cor 5:17)

It gives me great satisfaction and joy to use the talents that God has given me to take an old, beaten and well used piece of furniture and turn it into something beautiful and useful. Many times I've pulled something literally out of the trash by the side of the road and given it new life. I hope that my pieces give great pleasure to those who now have them in their homes. Just as the pieces I re

store have become a new creation, if we are in Christ we have also been Re-Created by God to become a new creation.

Funny thing. I really tried to donate this set but they wouldn't come get it because I was too far (by less than a mile!!). So out of frustration I put it on FBMP and it sold in less than 3 hours!! Really dont know what to make of that. But glad its going to a new home. 🤷‍♀️

✅️ Used up 3 colors leftover of Fusion paint mixing into new color

✅️ Used remainder of pole wrap from past project down to last slat

✅️ Used remainder of wallpaper.

✅️ Used hardware bought from Habitat ReStore years ago

✅️ Donating to a ministry that furnishes homes for people who need it.

WARNING LONG POST: When I originally posted this set I really wasn't happy as with it as evidenced by my post. But I was so tired, and over it. It was ... ok. Looked good enough and would have made someone very happy. Had no makers mark or anything. Just figured it was a good, but old, set that was given new life.

But.... then someone commented on if they were from Kent Coffey "the Titan" Collection. I had no idea. I uploaded a pic to Gemini and in fact, even without a makers mark, I had two RARE Titan pieces on my hand. Sooooo I gently stripped again the wood parts, restained them revealing the signature bookmatched veneer, and painted the base to camouflage the necessary repair work on the bottom.

NOW they are something I can be proud of which is what I should have done to begin with! Also I'm able to double my asking price. (Yes, it will only sell if someone is willing to pay that.) But now I'm justified in asking it.

My point is, these groups are very helpful. I received encouragement in my initial discouragement. I received knowledge about an unidentifiable piece, and confidence to redo a lot of it because we all make mistakes. So here they are again.

I've lined alot of drawers over the years, but this is the coolest!
