POV: You retired from Disney at 55… and a month later, this is your life. 🌴☀️

After more than 10 years of consecutive service with Disney, I officially retired—and now I’m getting a taste of what retirement travel looks like. First stop: Cancun, Mexico! 🇲🇽

I’m figuring out this whole life-after-Disney thing, but traveling more was high on my retirement list. If this is what retirement at 55 looks like, I think I’m going to like it. 😂

Life hack: always balance something cheap with something expensive. 😂

Walking = FREE.
Walking around Chichén Itzá in Mexico = definitely not free. 😂

But seeing one of the most incredible UNESCO World Heritage Sites in person? Absolutely worth it. 🇲🇽

This was one of the experiences I was most excited about on our Cancún vacation, and Chichén Itzá did not disappoint. Retirement is giving me more opportunities to travel, explore new places, and apparently justify expensive excursions with free walking. 😂

Retiring from Disney at 55 means pulling out 40+ years of Disney memories, collectibles, and family treasures to decorate for my retirement party and 55th birthday party. Retiring from Disney has me looking back at all the Disney stuff we’ve collected over the years. From vintage Disney items to favorite keepsakes, retiring from Disney is turning into one big walk down memory lane.
