🎉 FROM OUR STUDIO TO TAUNG: THE KO TAUNG REVOLUTION IS HERE! 🎉
We are incredibly proud to unveil a project that was a true canvas for creativity! Bar Studio had the honour of taking the Ko Taung restaurant in Taung, Gaborone from a bold concept to a stunning reality, handling the complete design and build.
Our vision? To create a unique destination that blends industrial grit with modern flair. We erected the structure using repurposed shipping containers and steel, left in a sleek charcoal finish for that contemporary edge. But we didn't stop there! We injected an artist's touch with bright, popping colours to make the space truly vibrant and unforgettable.
The Ko Taung concept is a pioneering one-stop-shop for Botswana: A authentic Tswana restaurant with relaxed outdoor seating. A premium car wash. A stylish barbershop. Imagine getting your car washed, enjoying a delicious meal, and getting a fresh cut , all in one seamless experience!
From the initial 3D renders and 2D layouts (which the client loved from the get-go!) to the final ex*****on, our team handled it all: steelwork, carpentry, joinery, electrical, painting, and furniture installation.
This project was a thrilling challenge and a testament to what's possible when a client gives us the freedom to innovate. We're building the future, one container at a time.
