More support is needed in terms of promoting local art; We would like to see more local art featured in our tourism facilities; in the hotels, lodges, restaurants as well as businesses in receptions and boardrooms.

These embroidered cushion covers are hand crafted by San women from the D’kar community Kuru Art. The designs are inspired by the San culture and natural surroundings of the Kalahari. The beads used in some of the cushions are an inherent part of the San Culture.
