Our third year with these new rose shrubs. I feel this is the year they are really performing. Triple the height and so many buds. I like to sprinkle blooms around the house. Tiny vintage containers make short stemmed blossoms look very important.

We will be enjoying, and I will be posting, bouquets for months now!!

A sweet is a favourite. And the pretty in pink pencil a reminder of having the loveliest interiors shoppe, years ago!!

We live in a townhome now, we have more roses than our family home had! Our flower bed is long and only has a 1/2 day of sun, if that!!! So you can grow beautiful plants in pots or small places!!

I am looking forward to the flush of pictures that IG friends will be posting these next months, full of bouquets around the world!!

Just a few pictures from the last few days weeks and months. Building up to Christmas, and renovations looking wonderful, I like to remember what’s been happening!!! I have baked, and it’s been eaten! I have a Christmas cracker craft ready for the grandkids, and even some gifts have been bought!!!

This weekend is full of fun experiences, markets fairs and time with family and friends.

As we head into the blessed holiday season may you be filled with HOPE LOVE JOY & PEACE.

The longest day of the year!! Summer Solstice!! June 20, 2024!! I didn’t feel good today and spent it resting. Sometimes that happens. I have CROHNS Disease and few other things!! I am thankful for getting to grow older, for Gods protection over me, friends and 🩵family!!! And our pretty garden!! Thanks for making it pretty!!

There’s more to finish, lighting, a few handles k***s and a latch, some mirror and art. The table and chairs are not decided on, there will be a built in bench. Window treatments and many totes to open and fill these beautiful cabinets!!!

When you in your 70’s pieces you bought brand new, when younger, are now considered vintage…
Playing along with for , letter G. This GLASS (leather & bamboo) coffee table has been around for decades, almost 50 years! bought it from a store that no longer exists, along with a side table. Its not heavily , but it’s pretty, and it’s ! Not all pieces in your home are a hard hunt, or a fun quest! Sometimes you can walk into an antique mall, thrift store flea market or garage sale and WOW, there it is!!
This set has had a long life in many rooms in our home, and when I think about “trending up”, I realize it’s still very functional and pretty!!
P.s. this cut GLASS and silver compote cookie barrel vase, is a new !
