Our primary business is producing hanging baskets, bedding plants, poinsettias and cut flowers which we retail at our farm as well as through the United Flower Growers Co-op Association in Burnaby.

A little patience goes a long way! 🌸

Have you ever looked at one of our moss baskets in May and noticed a few bare spots? That’s completely normal! That’s simply the nature of growing with living plants. Each variety grows at its own pace, and they need a little time to mature and fill in.

Fast forward a few weeks, and those same baskets are overflowing with blooms and lush foliage! The short wait is well worth it, and by early summer they’re putting on the spectacular show they’re meant to.

It’s always tempting to judge a basket by how it looks the day you bring it home, but with a little sunshine, water, and fertilizer, they’ll reward you with months of beautiful colour.

The transformation is one of our favourite parts of the season! 🌿🌺

Many of you have asked what’s next after we close for the season. We’ve been keeping busy this week because our very first poinsettias have already arrived! 🎄

Yes, it really takes that long to root and grow a tiny poinsettia cutting into the beautiful full plants you see at Christmastime. Over the next several months we’ll be caring for them as they grow, branch out, and slowly transform into the holiday favourites you all love.

While the greenhouse may look a little different right now, preparations for Christmas are already well underway behind the scenes. We can’t wait to watch these little plants grow! ✨

We are now closed for the season! We want to thank all of our customers, both new and returning, for an amazing spring. We truly appreciate all of your support and look forward to seeing you again in mid November when we reopen for Christmas. Have a wonderful summer! ☀️
