A craftsman home with a very modern brief: black, white, and grey.

It made us pause.

Our focus was keeping the integrity of the home while still delivering the look they were drawn to. We leaned into subtle Scandinavian influence to bridge that gap—clean, restrained, but still warm.

Instead of defaulting to black, we introduced tonal blues to soften the palette and bring some life into the space without losing the modern edge.

The result feels aligned, not forced. Modern, but still true to the home.

Our goal as designers is not to make a contractor’s life difficult or to spec outrageous design ideas that create costly and complicated work.

We want people to thrive in an elevated space that we’re intentionally thought through. We want the expectations to be clear across throughout the entire process. And we want people to feel organised and not overwhelmed while their lives are temporarily interrupted.
