I was born and educated in Amman, Jordan. Even as a child I was fascinated by what I saw around me:
colours, flowers, shapes, textures. From the smallest details in a petal to sky-wide patterns in the
clouds. Beyond drawing and painting, I was intrigued by design in architecture, furniture and fashion. Then, in 1987, I left behind the world I knew to have my eyes opened to a completely different w

orld in
Canada. Wide-open spaces, abundant greenery, flowers, lakes, streams and oceans became fresh, new
inspirations. Though delayed and repeatedly put aside, my dream of being a full-time artist remained alive and in
1999 I made the brave (and somewhat scary) commitment to practice my art and design full-time. I am inspired by beauty wherever I see it. I do my best to capture that fragile beauty by using various
techniques of realism and abstraction, applying acrylics and mediums to create the final artwork that

A little white goes a long way when painting clouds.
Try loading the brush with only the smallest amout and keep it light and in dabs.
