I had a great time at our Orlando Book Launch at CRU HQ Lake Hart! I’m very grateful for Jason Weimer’s and CRU Press’s investment into my big idea of sharing the Gospel over my unique shared meals. Jason has been an amazing editor and friend. He is also the Director of CRU Press. Editing all my crazy ideas is no easy task! The book is beautiful in every way so I wanted to create a special thank you gift for Jason. So I made him a Pizza Peel / Charcuterie Board out of some figured Maple. I carved it with my jig saw and a box knife. Thank you Jason! I’m excited to see what Jesus will do with our book and for the next chapter of 🍁

I spent some time in the mail room today, signing books! 📚

It was kind of surreal.

After years of cooking, writing, dreaming, and gathering people around the table, I’m now signing and sending out the very first preorders of The Gospel According to Food. A big thank you to everyone who placed a preorder!

These books are actually heading out into the world—and hopefully into kitchens, around tables, and into some meaningful conversations.

And now it’s time to celebrate! 🎉

Well… today a dream became a book. 📖

After years of dreaming, praying, cooking, writing, and setting tables, I finally held the first printed copy of The Gospel According to Food: Setting the Table for Spiritual Conversations in my hands.

This book grew out of something God placed on my heart many years ago:

Often the hardest part of talking about spiritual things is simply getting the conversation started.

Theo’s Feast began as a Holy Spirit-led invitation to explore whether food, story, metaphor, and hospitality could help make those conversations a little more natural.

And so I started setting tables.

Over the past several years, I’ve personally welcomed more than 3,000 dinner guests, developing recipes and edible metaphors designed to spark wonder and open the door to conversations about meaning, hope, faith, grace, and life.

Somewhere along the way, those meals became stories.
Those stories became recipes.
And those recipes became this book.

To everyone who has attended a feast, tasted one of my crazy culinary ideas, helped in the kitchen, encouraged me, prayed for me, or simply cheered me on — thank you.

You have been part of this journey.

Whether you share my faith or are simply curious, I hope this book inspires you to pull up a chair, gather people you care about around your table, and discover that a meal can nourish more than our bodies.

Sometimes, all it takes to begin a meaningful conversation is to set the table.

The Gospel According to Food is finally here.

Well… today was a pretty special day.

After years of dreaming, praying, cooking, writing, and wondering if this day would ever come, I finally held the first printed copy of The Gospel According to Food: Setting the Table for Spiritual Conversations in my hands.

Today, a dream became a book.

This book grew out of something God placed on my heart many years ago: often the hardest part of talking about spiritual things is simply getting the conversation started.

And so I started setting tables.

Over the past several years, I’ve personally welcomed more than 3,000 dinner guests to Theo’s Feast, experimenting with recipes and edible metaphors designed to create moments of wonder and open the door to conversations about meaning, hope, faith, grace, and life.

Somewhere along the way, those meals became stories. Those stories became recipes. And those recipes became this book.

To everyone who has attended a feast, tasted one of my crazy culinary ideas, helped in the kitchen, encouraged me, prayed for me, or simply cheered me on — thank you.

You have been part of this journey, and I’m incredibly grateful.

Whether you share my faith or are simply curious, I hope this book invites you to pull up a chair, gather some people you care about around your table, taste something unexpected, and perhaps discover that a meal can nourish more than our bodies.

Sometimes, all it takes to begin a meaningful conversation is to set the table.

The Gospel According to Food is finally here!

I will post details on how to get your copy in the comments below.

God bless!

It’s no secret that the starving see God clearer than the full.

It’s no secret that grace can turn our brokenness into gold.

What if the universe was trying to tell you something — and the message was written in the fabric of physics itself.
On May 9, we’re gathering around the table for Finely Tuned Ramen — a six-course dinner structured around six cosmological constants that make life possible. Each course is a conversation. Each bowl, a question.
Come hungry. Leave wondering.

Finely Tuned Ramen
A Recipe for the Universe

My friend,

I have no special talent —
I am only passionately curious.
And lately, I have been curious about ramen.

The universe is governed by laws of astonishing precision.
Change them ever so slightly, and nothing would exist.
No stars. No life. — No dinner.

What strikes me most is not that these laws are so exact —
but that we can read them at all. That the universe permits
itself to be understood. This, to me, is the miracle.
And it points, quietly but insistently, toward a Designer.

So I began to wonder…
What if such fine tuning could be tasted?

You are invited to an evening where physics meets the kitchen —
where a simple bowl of ramen becomes an exploration of the universe itself.

Observe carefully. Taste slowly. Ask good questions.

Perhaps, somewhere between the broth and the glowing noodles, you may discover that the universe is not only understandable but deeply meaningful.

Yours,

Albert

Theoretical Physicist & Devoted Ramen Enthusiast

*I should mention that I met my Designer in 1955 and did not write this. I have reviewed it, however, and find the physics sound, the sentiment agreeable, and the ramen more interesting than several of my later papers. You have my blessing. — A.E.

† Contains wheat, soy, and seafood. The universe, regrettably, cannot rearrange its constants. Neither can we. However we might be able to negotiate noodle alternatives. Message the Ramen Master.

The universe is infinite; this dining room is not. RSVP by April 22.
