July, you were full 🧡
This month held so much. A ladies' paper crafting day I hosted, with three generations at the table (my 10-year-old scrapbooking next to my 90-year-old grandma making cards: connection and memory-making at its finest 📖✂️).
Baby TEA saw her first fireworks, we had an incredible view in the new front yard of a dear friend who I watched Canada Day fireworks in every year as a kid! 🎆 Full circle moments hit different when you're the mama now.
We had a family visit to my parents that turned into an extended stay when grandma got sick... she recovered, then ended up back in hospital after I got home. July had some hard edges too, and honestly that's why Mama’s, as much as anyone else, need to take time for self-care.
In between: cousin chaos with my sister and nephews (chocolate cupcakes, race tracks, and water parks 💦), and a lovely slower afternoon in the pool catching up with a university friend.
Busy, tender, a little heavy, a lot of love.
That's July.
