I am in love with these barn door files!!! My favorite is the black door. I sanded it to make it look weathered.
These pieces are all interchangeable, which I Love!! Paint a door to match your house decor. This is what I love about painting these types of items.... You get to make them how you would like.
The can is to demonstrate the size.
I won't be offering any paint take home kits. Sorry.
There is so much paint needed for these that it would make more sense to go and buy the paint you would like. I will be offering the cut wood pieces and you can also come and paint them in my shop.
If there is interest I can have a painting class for these items. Just message me if interested.

Did you know we have take home kits? You tell us what you would like to paint and we provide the paint, 2 paint brushes and the wood pieces. We don't provide the glue. You can get the wood glue at any hardware place in town.

Come paint them in my shop or buy just the wood pieces and paint them in your house. I don't offer any take home kits as they use a lot of paint and I am only planning on offering take home kits with paint for smaller items.

This is for all the fellow bird nerds out there! I looked out my kitchen window and saw my first Goldfinch of the season!! So exciting!! I am waiting for the Baltimore Orioles to come back. I engraved a bird notebook for myself to write down all the birds I see and write down the dates so I can look back each year to see if things are changing.
I was engraving other kinds of notebooks/journals this afternoon. I haven't finished all of them but I am hoping to post those tomorrow.

I thought I would take the time to introduce the people behind Creative Nest & More. This is my oldest son Ashton and his fiance Ali. Ashton does all the 3d printing. He is also the family's go to guy for everything electronic.
