Truro Pride is seeking out vendors for our very first holiday market!

On Saturday, November 28, we’ll be hosting the Make the Yuletide Gay Holiday Market at the Truro Fire Hall. We’re looking for queer/ally artists, crafters, bakers, makers, and creators of all kinds.

If you’re interested, apply via the link below, or access the form from our Linktree. Preference will be given to those within the 2SLGTBQIA+ community. Space is limited, so sign up now!

What you need to know:
- Tables and chairs provided
- $40 vendor fee
- Market setup begins at 9am, closes at 4pm.

PSA to vendors with tents: friendly reminder to tighten the joints on your tents. I went to pop mine up last weekend and the bolt popped out and the top brace collapsed in. I was able to tie the bars together until I got home.
So grab an allen key and maintain those tents friends. 💪

PSA: to anyone selling things in markets as vendors...please be aware of phishing scams. I've received 2 emails requesting me to vend at a market. How I know theyre fake is that the emails dont match the addresses I have on file, I'm a current member of the Sackville Sackville Farmers Market and already applied for the Dayles christmas market, and the forms are not what is used for either application.

These emails are being used to phish for info and money. Always be suspicious of emails asking you to enter your information into a link. I have a background investigating online fraud...other might not be so lucky to catch these small details. Stay safe.

I am absolutely in love with night markets. And so, I'm excited to be participating in New Glasgow’s Downtown Night Market Aug.15th from 6-10. I've never been to New Glascow so I'm making a whole lil' staycation of it.

I can't wait to make some new friends and share my art in a different space. Until then, stay chic. 💓

Volunteers are needed between 7:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M., and we’re happy to work around your availability. After a brief orientation, you’ll be able to work independently while receiving guidance and support from market staff.

Who doesn't love strawberry season? I know I do. The first time I had a fresh strawberry wasn't until I moved to Nova Scotia. Like, I had a strawberry before...but the strawberries out west just taste different. Same with potatoes. Never had a new potato. I didn't even know they existed. My mind was blown.
