I cannot tell you how much I love these lil Lady Bugs. Inspired by my large Scrappy beetle, I decided to make a wearable size. Still made of scraps and stuffed with scraps...this lil buggy broach will add instant whimsy to any outfit. Or she could put on a shelf or hang on a wall.

Boo! Just popping in cuz it dawned on me that I hadn't mentioned that I'm hibernating this winter. Spending more time outside, organizing my home, making art for myself, checking things off my Pinterest, and taking naps...lots of naps. I'm intentionally taking things slow this chilly season. Last winter I didnt step back...I just tried to keep creating when my body couldn't keep moving, leaving me tired and sad...really sad.

So I intend to come back to the market life in March. Until then. You can still find a few things
I will refresh my cubby soon (again, the whole creating for others in my SAD era...I'm trying).

Decided to make a collage to spark the creative juices. I've never made one that I liked. I always tried to plan it. Tried to make something "pretty". Tonight I just let it flow and then when I felt I was done could I then start to analyze it...and wow do I feel this.

I haven't cut lino in literally 18 years. Working on some fun Scrappy merch. And as always, they will be made from thrifted materials. It was nice to get a lil creative today and get this idea out of my head.

Made this stunning necklace for my MIL using a tiny rose from her garden. Im obsessed. There's a couple bubbles on the back which happens from the heat of the resin under the UV light. I may need to resin dip more full flowers in the spring.

iiittttt's TttttIIIIiiimmeee!! For the biggest shopping event of the season here in Amherst. This'll be my 4th year doing this market and it never loses its magic. Every corner is beautifully decorated and full of cheer as old friends catch up and new friends connect. There's music, food, holiday cheer, and so many different vendors, you're sure to check off that list.

Come on down and shop local, and support your neighbours. The big box stores won't notice your $$$, they can't share in a laugh, they won't care why you're picking that special gift for your dad, or give you a hug when you need a dopamine boost to pull you through the season...but you can find this warmth and much more when you shop small and with intention.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to y'all. The way everyone has shown up this year to support my art means so much to me. You have pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things, to better my craft, and to better serve my community.
This past year I've seen tremendous growth in myself, my art, and my esthetic and I owe it all to you. Im so excited to see what's next, but I'll savor every bit of today...especially the stories you share when we meet. I love hearing about Gama and her ornaments, or your ex-MIL's love of frogs, or how your mother told you Forget me Nots hold a lil sunshine in their centers. Your stories bring me joy and warmth and sparks of creativity. So thank you for supporting my small biz. Wether through purchasing my art or telling a friend, I appreciate you. You help keep my family's bellies as full as my heart and keep me wanting to create. And we all know art is therapy and keeps a mind well.

A million thank yous is still not enough.💕
