Mrs. Pugsley's Emporium welcomes the Nova Scotia Fibre Arts Festival to town this week with open hours on Thursday from 1-4pm and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. We look forward to visits from old and new friends. The shop is located in the Clock Tower Building at 50 Victoria St E. in Amherst, N.S.

A reminder that Mrs Pugsley's Emporium is open this afternoon (Wed Oct 7) from 1:30-4 pm, as well as tomorrow afternoon (Thurs Oct 8) from 1:30-4 pm. We are located in the Clock Tower bldg. at 50 Victoria St E. in Amherst, N.S.
(Bet you need some of this orange tulle for Hallowe'en!!)

You certainly kept us busy last week (thank you!) so it's time to post our extra hours for this week. On both Wednesday Oct. 7 and Thursday Oct. 8 we will be open from 1:30-4pm. All regular 115 cm (45") wide fabrics on the bolt will be on special for a flat $10./m (with a minimum 1 metre cut). This includes Tula Pink, Kaffe Fassett, Kona cottons, etc. but EXCLUDES the new fabrics (i.e. the cats) which will be featured for $10. per HALF-metre. Wide-backs, cork, and Fireside are also excluded from this sale, as are FQ bundles and pre-cuts. You will also find special pricing on all of our panels, like the "Telling Time" panel pictured. The sale is offered for in store shopping only; no on-line or mail orders will be accepted at this time.

You've been asking us for more open hours and we are doing our best to oblige! THIS WEEK we will be open on THURSDAY AND FRIDAY from 10 am-4pm. That's Thursday October 1 and Friday October 2, 10-4. Hours for next week will be given in a subsequent post, so please check back here for those times.

Although we are not participating in the NS/NB Shop Hop this weekend, Mrs. Pugsley's Emporium will be open (as always) Thursday afternoon from 1:30- 4pm. We have a good selection of prints, batiks, and Kona solids in stock. If you are in town, we'd love to have you drop in. You can find all sorts of unique items at Mrs Pugsley's Emporium, including elastic thread. Wind it on your bobbin (by hand) and use regular sewing thread in the top; stitch parallel lines and it will "shirr" your fabric into stretchy folds.
