Behind every seamless renovation is a strategy that makes the vision feel real before construction even begins.

For this primary bathroom remodel in Old Forest Hill, Toronto, we developed a complete design presentation—from technical drawings and custom elevations to curated materials & finishes boards and photorealistic visual renderings—allowing our clients to fully experience the space before a single tile was installed.

This process isn’t just about aesthetics. It creates clarity, confidence, and alignment throughout the renovation journey.

The result:
– Drawings with intention behind every design decision
– Finish selections that create a cohesive, timeless look
– Visual renderings that transform ideas into vision
– A smoother renovation experience with fewer surprises during construction

Design is always in the details—but communication is what brings it all together.

Swipe to see how concept, materials, and rendering work together to shape the final outcome.

Would you want to see your renovation before construction starts?

Moody. Modern. Masculine.

This bathroom renovation was designed to feel grounded and sophisticated—balancing darker tile, light oak millwork, and a clean, bright wall palette to create contrast without heaviness.

The goal? A space that feels elevated but still effortless to live in.

We started with inspiration images that captured the client’s vision, then translated that into a curated material palette—rich, masculine tones layered with warmth and texture. Before construction even began, we developed an AI-optimized rendering using those exact finishes, giving our client a clear, realistic preview of how everything would come together.

The result:
– Deep-toned tile for a bold, architectural foundation
– Light oak cabinetry to soften and warm the space
– Bright walls to reflect light and keep it feeling open
– A cohesive palette that feels modern, timeless, and refined

This is where design meets technology—helping clients *see* the vision before it’s built.

Would you go darker in your bathroom or keep it light? 👀
SAVE this for your next bathroom renovation 🤍

This season looks different — and that’s okay.

Building a design business while raising a little one has forced me to slow down, set boundaries and be more intentional than ever.

It’s also reinvigorated my love for design.

Becoming a mom has added a whole new layer to my work — it’s deepened my understanding of how truly important it is for a space to support your lifestyle, however that may look.

If this resonates with you, you’re not alone!

This is luxury design without blowing the budget.

One of our favourite master bathroom renovations to date. This is a visual rendering modelled in 3D and then optimized with AI to give the client the full effect.

The ask was simple: re-envision the space, update hardware and fixtures, and give the space a spa-like feel without relocating plumbing.

No one ever wants to see the words “cost-effective” with “luxury” but the reality is that no one truly wants to spend aimless amounts of money on design.

Great design is intentional, not frivolous.

What do you think of our proposed design?

Alysa Liu knows what she’s talking about.

The constant internal dialogue an interior designer has with themselves:

“What if the client hates it?”
“Am I capturing all of their wants/needs?”
“Did I review code properly?”
“What if permit comes back?”
“Is this the best structured finish for this application?”
“Is this performance fabric?”

The list goes on.
But in the grand scheme of it all, every minor doubt is one major move closer to being better.

And that’s what counts.

Not every design project needs to be a major renovation.

This is one of several design concepts for a furniture install in Ancaster, Ontario.

Our homeowner, a young and well-established doctor, wanted to pair the home’s Victorian charm with a modern, mid-century sophistication.

Built in 1983, we wanted to pay tribute to the home’s architectural elements — the custom trim work, the solid wood millwork, the vaulted ceilings. We paired clean lines with rich textures and classic wood tones to keep consistent with the character of the home.

We kept it modern by eliminating overly decorative ornamentation — no ornate scrolls or decorative legs on the furniture, no tufting on the upholstery — bringing this home into the 21st century.

Good design is about understanding the homeowner’s goals, while also respecting the design of the environment. It is about making sure that “needs” are met and “wants” are managed — all while maintaining the integrity of the space. That is intentional design.

Stay with us as we prepare to give you a final home tour of this incredible space.
