Behind every beautifully finished room is a phone full of order updates, backorders, discontinued pieces, client questions, supplier calls, scheduling, problem-solving… and someone asking what’s for dinner

Some days we’re selecting gorgeous fabrics and styling beautiful homes

Other days we’re tracking down an order, figuring out Plan B (and sometimes Plan C), answering 47 messages, and wondering how it’s already 5pm

This is what happens when you let a room have a little personality!

We love a beautiful, pulled-together scheme, but that doesn’t mean every selection needs to play it safe

Sometimes it’s that gorgeous wallpaper, an unexpected pattern, a richer colour, or a fabric with a little more personality that takes everything from pretty to “WOW”

The key is balance!

When you have one element that’s ready to steal the show, the other selections can support it, pulling out colours, introducing complementary textures, and creating a connection throughout the entire scheme without competing for attention

And these wallpaper samples are definitely having their moment!

This is one of our favourite parts of the decorating process… playing with combinations, trying something unexpected, and finding that one selection that suddenly makes the whole vision click

Paint is beautiful… but sometimes a room is asking for a little more personality!

Wallpaper is one of our favourite ways to completely change the feeling of a space without changing everything in the space

It can introduce pattern, colour, texture and character in a way that paint simply can’t and it doesn’t have to mean covering every wall in a bold print

Sometimes it’s the powder room where you can have a little more fun. Maybe it’s a bedroom that needs softness and warmth, a dining room that deserves a little drama, or a feature wall that needs something to make it feel intentional

The trick is knowing when wallpaper will add to the room rather than overwhelm it and choosing a pattern and scale that work with everything else happening in the space
