✨ lots of progress on my Chapter Shawl recently! I’m on the second side of the shawl and still having so much fun with the construction and getting to change a colour every section. I’m using our BFL Fi*****ng mini skeins in 12 tonals. My entire project fits beautifully in my Everywhere Tote from Jessica!! There’s a few different versions of this tote under the “New to the Shop” section.

Welcome to Episode Two of weekend wip update!

This week I continued to work on my Half + Half Triangels Wrap! I started this project at the beginning of April. It’s not mentioned in the video but it is being knit out of our BFL Fi*****ng base that we have both been loving so far!

☀️ we’re in the middle of some pretty big changes happening here at work and it’s been feeling a little chaotic lately! Bonus: we’re also in the middle of our first heat wave of the year 😈 so we thought that it would be fun to launch our very first “Maker Mayhem” where we’ll be announcing surprise deals on yarn & project bags throughout the rest of May! We hope you’ll take advantage of these deals for your projects and it’ll also help us make some much needed room for what’s coming soon (hoping to share in the next few weeks).

We’ll be sending out a newsletter on each deal day explaining which products are on sale, the discount amount, and how long that specific deal will last. The Cabin Pullover by has been such a fun wip so far! The house block was knit out of Wormhole DK and the body is being knit out of Eclipse DK in Natural. I might go back and unpick my collar cast off and fold it over and sew it down instead. I also will be using Eclipse DK for the bottom part before the hem instead of using the door colour for grass.

Introducing Gus Gus the Goose! He was knit using Natural Eclipse DK for his body and a mini skein of our BFL DK in Citrus for his feet and beak. A Wormhole DK mini skein would make a great replacement for the BFL. He is the cutest goose around and he has been having a ball being passed around the house for cuddles. The construction of this pattern results in a very sturdy toy that would be great for little hands.

This little guy only used 37 grams of yarn to complete, which means that you could easily make two out of one skein. Gus Gus is lightly stuffed with wool stuffing and his eyes are embroidered on with all 6 strands of DMC 310.
