With Thanksgiving behind us, Workshop Season begins! We're kicking it off with the two part Beginner Mosiac. Over two days, October 18th and 25th, you'll learn about the different kinds of mosaic and make your own really cool piece to take home. November 1st is Intro to Fusing, which is always popular. If you can cut glass, you can fuse. November 8th is another fusing workshop where you'll make your own spoon rest and spice or "pinch" bowl. November 15th is another popular workshop where Norma will take you back to soldering basics, as well as teach you some decorative techniques and all about patina. One of our frequent clients, Leslee, worked really hard on this panel with many kiln fusings to create the abstract whale pattern. She worked on the tail first and then incorporated it into the rest of the design. She's currently moved out west and we hope everything is going well in her new endeavour. All the best and we will miss her.

Labour Day, and the starting of the Fall 8 week course, somehow marks the end of summer. We will be closed this Sunday and Labour Day Monday opening on Tuesday with Fall/Winter hours. Which means we will be open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 3pm and on Sundays from 10am to 2pm. Enjoy your long weekend!
