On April 30th we closed the door on an amazing chapter of our lives.
We owned and operated Carter Decor, a family run business for 34 years!
We were very fortunate to serve many wonderful clients of the West Island, Hudson, Laval, Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa. Many of whom became personal friends.
But, we didn’t do it alone!
We had help from many talented Designers. Many of whom came to us from Design School and stayed to work for years and even became close friends.
Thank you, Kathy, Sylvia, Vanessa, Marie, Lorraine, Yvonne, Amalia, Marie Claire, Bonnie, Louise, Gail, Frankie, Linda,Laurie and Elena.
If I’ve forgotten anyone, I apologize.
And last but not least my amazing talented daughter Amy.
Thank you to our awesome seamstresses. Sue, Lena, Carmella and Kathy. Your workmanship was always of the highest quality which in a business such as ours was of the utmost importance.
We cannot forget to thank the many suppliers, installers, carpet layers and upholsterers that we had the privilege to collaborate with over the years.
I have said this often…I was one of the fortunate people who woke up in the morning and was happy to head to work! Everyday was different and the work that we did gave people such pleasure and joy which in turn gave us confirmation that we were doing it right.
How could you not love to do this!
