THE STRAND — PROGRESS UPDATE 🎭
It’s been a little while since our last update, and a lot has been happening behind the doors at 303 Mara Road.
Over the past year, we’ve continued working through renovations, building improvements, compliance requirements, planning, and the countless details involved in bringing The Strand Music Theatre & Concert Hall back to life.
And while there has been plenty of progress, we want to make one thing clear:
The Strand is not open to the public just yet…
We know there’s been growing curiosity around town about what’s happening inside, and we’re grateful for it. Every question, message, conversation and word of encouragement reminds us just how much this building means to Beaverton and the surrounding community!
Our goal has never been simply to open the doors as quickly as possible.
Our goal is to do this properly, creating a safe, welcoming and exciting destination that can serve this community and the Township of Brock for years to come.
When those doors do open, The Strand will begin a new chapter as a place for live music, performances, entertainment, community gatherings, special events and so much more.
There is still so much work happening behind the scenes and renovations remain underway.
As we move closer to finalizing all avenues, all official updates regarding our progress, opening plans, events and announcements will be shared through The Strand’s official communication and social media channels.
So if you’ve been wondering when the lights are coming back on…
We’re getting there. ❤️
