One Lovely Minute 60 seconds of beauty, wonder, and peace.

When someone shares a lovely moment with me, it feels like being held in their heart. Giving me the chance to share it with you carries that kindness a little further.

My beautiful friend Laurie filmed this bee resting in a yellow flower, gently rocking in the wind. She paused to enjoy it herself, but thought of us, too. There’s something so caring in that—a little circle of people held in a moment, much like the bee held by its flower. 🌼🐝

We often push ourselves to do more, achieve more, and keep going. Yet rest matters. During sleep, our bodies support tissue repair and healthy immune function. Even in stillness, there is important work happening.

May we each find somewhere that holds us with this much comfort and joy, even when the world around us feels a little wild.

This bee has found its cosy spot, and it clearly isn’t leaving. Honestly? Neither would I. 💛

A little underwater wonder for your day. 🐙

Octopuses are remarkable learners, able to form memories and recognise familiar objects. I love the thought of meeting the world with that same curiosity.

If something feels tangled today, give yourself room to pause, look again, and try another way. You don’t need every answer at once.

Enjoy this gently looping, AI-created ocean moment that I have created for you. One lovely minute to breathe and let your thoughts settle.

With the tide out, the red cliffs of this New Brunswick beach reveal edges usually hidden beneath the water.

There’s something tender about being seen where we’re usually sheltered. When life leaves us feeling exposed, may we meet ourselves with kindness. Our weathered edges have beauty too. 🌊

Let the wind carry a little magic into the coming year. 🕯️

Now is the time to prepare your inner garden and choose your bulbs—the intentions you hope to see blossom.

Between now and thirteen days before Winter Solstice, write thirteen intentions on separate slips of paper, gathering them slowly as they come to you. Write as though they are already true: “I have…” and “I am…”, rather than “I wish” or “I want.”

Over the twelve nights leading into Solstice, safely burn one each night, releasing it to the universe. Imagine the wind carrying it away to be cared for and brought into fruition.

On the thirteenth night—Winter Solstice—keep the final intention. This is the one you will tend yourself. Mine rests on the mantel beside a candle, in view throughout the year.

A quiet promise. A little planting. Room for what may grow.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone sharing these lovely minutes with me. 🍂

Whether you’re gathering with friends and family, sharing a meal, or enjoying a quiet day, I hope you find a moment to notice what you’re thankful for.

May your heart feel held, your table offer comfort, and your day bring small joys worth lingering over. May kindness find you wherever you are, and may you have a little to pass along.

The trees are letting go, yet the wildflowers are still blooming. I love that autumn makes room for both. For me, this is a season to release what I’m ready to leave behind and gently plan for what comes next. Rather than waiting for the new year to make plans,
I like to give those thoughts space now, while there’s still beauty growing around me.

Then winter can be a time for quiet and rest—letting those ideas settle before the season of doing begins again.

One Lovely Minute. A little garden windmill catching whatever the air feels like giving. Quick spins, slow pauses, then quick again. Like the day itself. Not everything stays steady and that's okay. Today I'm honouring the shifts without fuss.

There was a time when one of life's sweetest treats wasn't the milkshake itself, but who you shared it with.

A favourite soda shop. Two straws. Laughter drifting through the afternoon. A simple moment that somehow became a treasured memory.

I've come to believe that sharing is one of the most beautiful forms of receiving. When we offer our time, our attention, our stories, or even a sip of something sweet, our own hearts are filled in return.

Today, I'd like to offer you a gentle invitation: spend a little time with someone you love. Share a conversation, a walk, a cup of tea, or perhaps even a milkshake.

Because the richest gifts are rarely THINGS at all. They are the moments we gather together, the memories we create, and the love that quietly grows between us.

Let's share. 💕
