My latest offerings for Dempsey Corner Orchards Gift Shop. The emperor penguin $45., the clown fish $25. and the octopus $75. The observant eye might notice that I ran out of yarn for the octopus and was unable to find any that matched so I had to use a slightly different colour. BUT, my story is that the octopus lost a leg in an altercation defending her family and when the new one grew in, it was a slightly different colour. It happens.😏

Orcas can reach up to 32 feet and can swim up to 54 km/h. They are very smart hunters and use team work to deliberately create large waves on ice floes to force their prey into the water where they are easier to catch. This one is sold but I can make more. $40.

There ARE pink chameleons - they live in Madagascar.🙂 It takes some chameleons only 20 seconds to change to another colour. This one will take a little longer - it's reversible. $55.

These creatures are heading to the Dempsey Corner Gift Shop this morning. The shark is a popular item - the fourth one I made this summer! Did you know that the red lobster appears in nature only one in 10 million? The way to get a brown, green, blue or yellow lobster to turn red is to cook it.🙂

Some more sea creatures heading to Dempsey Corner Orchards this morning. Did you know that jelly "fish" (they are invertebrates) have no brain or heart and take in oxygen through their body walls? They are 95% water. The hermit crab comes in a variety of colours depending on what they eat. They have "shell swap parties" when the largest of the group vacates his shell, another one can take it if it fits.

My sea creatures are selling at Dempsey Corner Orchard gift shop so I had to make some more. These will be arriving there tomorrow morning.

Allen and I got most of my stuffies set up at Dempsey Corner Gift Shop this afternoon. The grand opening is tomorrow starting at 10 in the morning, so come on out and enjoy the fun and check out my stuffies.

The Corgi was originally used for cattle herding because of their ability to nip at their heels. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi - favoured by Queen Elizabeth - has a very short tail and very short legs but their bark is very loud. $35.

The Chihuahua - the world's smallest dog bred. He is named after the Mexican state and is an alert watch dog that barks frequently. Compared to their body size, they have the largest brain in the dog world. This one is about 9" tall - including ears! $30. PS - the cat is a pillow.
